METHOD AND MADNESS Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey Japanese Mizunara Oak Cask is a 33-Year-Oldsingle cask of single pot still whiskey. It is the oldest Irish whiskey to be finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak casks on the market.
The Japanese oak was sourced from the Hokkaido region in Northern Japan, where the temperate rainforest creates the ideal growing conditions for barrel production which can deliver particular notes such as sandalwood and a much stronger coconut aroma that increases over time.
The Mizunara imparts notes of sweet coffee cake and toasted nuts on this delectable whiskey with flavours of nutmeg, vanilla and wood tannins.
