Method and Madness Inspired Pancakes

Who doesn’t love Whiskey Pancakes?

We teamed up with Katy from @bellefeast on Instagram to bring you METHOD AND MADNESS inspired banana pancakes. When deciding which whiskey to pair with our pancakes, we were immediately drawn to the fruity tastes coming through in METHOD AND MADNESS Mulberry Cask.

Tasting Notes
Aroma:

Caramelised Toffee Apple.
Freshly Cut Wood.
Toasted Pine Nuts.

Taste:

Sweet Pear.
Green Apple.
Smoked Paprika.

Finish:

Deep & Mellow.
Lingering Fruits
Intense Wood Spice.

Katy has certainly sent our tastebuds into overdrive by making excellent use of the ingredients and has created a unique topping for the traditional pancake. Salted Caramel Whiskey Sauce
(makes ~500ml)

100g Butter
100g Light brown sugar
375g Tin of condensed milk
1 Teaspoon vanilla
80ml Double cream
4 Tablespoons whiskey
1 tsp Sea salt flakes

Pancakes
(makes ~10-12 crepes)

110g Plain flour
2 Large eggs
250ml Whole milk
50g Butter

Caramelised Bananas

2 Bananas
100ml Salted caramel whiskey sauce (see above)
Knob of butter
2 Tablespoons of water
