Whites Tavern

An historic 17th century tavern located in Winecellar Entry laying claim to be the oldest tavern in Belfast.

White’s Tavern welcomes you to the oldest tavern in Belfast. Located in Winecellar Entry, the bar is steeped in history and culture having been established in 1630.

The city’s first-ever tavern license was granted to the very building where it stands. Today the tavern is renowned for high-quality food, creamy pints and traditional Irish music.

Beside the tavern is White’s Garden, White’s Beer Hall and White’s Store which are charming additions to the traditional Irish bar since 1868.
